We are looking for our Ultrasonic Metal Welding Division North America the following talent to join us

VP Sales and Engineering – Billerica Massachusetts

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for the business development managing the Sales, Engineering and Service Team within the Ultrasonic Metal Welding Division.

  • Work on innovative solutions in support of Ultrasonic Metal Welding Technology with the Sales and Engineering team.
  • Play fundamental role in setting up new business; take responsibility for the effective onboarding of new customers.
  • Develop relationship with Tier 1 and OEM key accounts based in North America, acting worldwide.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Business Unit Metal Welding at our Headquarters in Switzerland.
  • Communicate all customer requirements with regards to engineering, pricing, performance, design, manufacturing and quality control to co-workers in the US and internationally.
  • Provide assistance to ensure new products are introduced to the market.
  • Create business proposals for new and existing customers.
  • Ensure design and implementation of existing product and projects are completed on a timely basis.
  • Assess potential risks associated with any projects and provide recommendations for customer machine integration.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in sales of industrial equipment and engineering within the Automotive, Automation, or related industries.

  • BS Degree in Engineering, added Business degree preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle customer concerns and address them in a timely manner.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers and/or suppliers.
  • Organize and attend trade shows.
  • Experience in Automotive Industry especially in wire harness industry preferred.
