How do I write this in a way that people will read it? How do I bring up a topic that most won’t want to hear about, but that many should?
I guess you just go for it, write and post it, and hopefully those that will benefit from it will read it. So, here goes…
Throughout human history, there are 3 different ways to subjugate the masses to the will of the few; through military force, by imposed religion, and through economics.
The least obvious of these is the latter, economics, and this is what’s happening in Western democracies now.
This column is not intended to be political, but educational. People work hard for their money (as they always have), but the money they earn today doesn’t seem to have the same value (the same purchasing power) as it did before. And it’s important to understand the reason for that.
Government spending is ludicrously out of control, and not as a consequence of the need to fund necessary or supposedly good causes, but by design and on purpose. Why? For what purpose? To accomplish two things: to create the need and rationale to keep increasing taxes, and to continually deflate the value of people’s money, because deflating the value of money creates dependence.
Government overspending is the only real cause of inflation. It puts more money into the economy without putting in any additional actual value. If there’s twice as much money, but the same amount of goods and services, the cost of the goods and services doubles. That’s math, and that’s how it is.
Moderate government overspending was always tolerated as an investment in the future, but in the last 10 years, it’s been anything but moderate. Think of the billions of dollars in announcements to the Ukraine. Has there ever been any audits or accountability? Think of all the other announcements over the last few years, from high-speed rail to big funds for special needs and public perception friendly causes. No discernible outcomes. No accountability. No one even asks the questions anymore. Just layers of bureaucracy followed by fresh new announcements to capture the public’s attention. Today, these mega-fund announcements are just excuses to print money and raise taxes.
The goal is simple – to dilute the personal wealth of the masses, creating a society of two types of ideal citizens: the dependent and the loyal. The dependent will get increasingly poorer; the loyal, increasingly richer.
Folks, if this isn’t clear to you yet, keep watching with an open mind and open eyes. In Canada for instance (and likely some States too), the spending has ramped up considerably over the last year, over the extreme levels of the previous decade, and we’re being conditioned to accept even more spending as a supposed consequence of circumstances outside of our government’s control.
But it’s not. It’s by many countries’ government’s design. (Canada’z new Prime Minister, for example, is a banker, and honestly, who would know better than a banker, and what better guise than a self-appointed organization that calls itself the “World Economic Forum”). Households can’t prosper if they spend more than they earn, and neither can companies. This we all know from our collective working experiences. Why do we think it’s different for countries? It’s not.
At this point, there is only one major democratic nation that has been resisting this acquiescent slide back into the historically prevalent condition where the masses are subjugated to the state or ruling powers. And that’s “the land of the free and the home of the brave”. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, but they may once again be the last hope for a free society.
(And some will say, all of this is in Revelation).
