Inaugural DIT-MCO Technology Exchange a Success!

We are thrilled to reflect on the success of our inaugural Technology Exchange convention, which brought together industry leaders, partners, and professionals to explore the future of our industry. The event not only showcased cutting-edge innovations but also fostered meaningful connections and insights that will shape our shared journey forward.

A Vision for the Future
Our convention was marked by an inspiring invocation speech from our President David Shier, who spoke passionately about the future of our industry. With a focus on innovation and adaptability, he highlighted the importance of staying ahead of industry trends, particularly in the realm of smart technology and machine learning.

A key theme of the speech was our company’s commitment to introducing new products that can quickly and accurately troubleshoot system and equipment errors. Through improved multi-point data collection and machine learning algorithms, these solutions are set to revolutionize how issues are diagnosed and resolved, allowing for seamless, real-time responses that minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Thank You to Our Partners and Attendees
We want to extend our gratitude to all who attended, especially our valued partners. Your support made this convention a resounding success. From the engaging presentations to the collaborative discussions, every element was enriched by your contributions.

To the attendees who traveled from near and far to join us, thank you! Your participation, questions, and enthusiasm were the driving force behind the event’s energy, and we look forward to building upon these shared experiences.

Informative Partner Presentations
The focus of the convention was the insightful presentations from the DIT-MCO team and our trusted partners, each offering valuable expertise on key products and systems that are transforming our industry:

Bill Randall with Daniels Manufacturing Corp. shared DMC’s advancements in cable management equipment with the introduction of the LaceLok®. The LaceLok® system is ergonomic and provides consistent support with unrivaled strength and performance. Made of aerospace-grade materials, LaceLok features a small, rounded fastener and meta-aramid fiber lace. This combination of materials provides superior resistance to fuel, chemicals, abrasion, and extreme operating temperatures.

Nick Norris from Zuken provided an in-depth look at the Harness Builder for E3.series which is designed to create custom outputs that feed manufacturing equipment like wire processing machines, braiding machines, labeling, and electrical testers like the DIT-MCO wiring analyzers. It was great to learn that integration enhances the accuracy and efficiency of wire harness manufacturing and testing processes, ensuring high-quality and reliable results.

Alan Cook from Glenair Inc. provided an insightful history of Glenair and the evolution of their products. Quality and reliability were an overarching theme which was demonstrated in their massive production facility and impressive “Side-by-Side” assembly process. Their TurboFlex High-Power, High Voltage Cable was a highlight and to hear of the use case in where ridged cable could not be used in military fuselage was a learning experience for all.

DIT-MCO’s Director of Engineering, Scott Ruland explored the future of multi-point data collection in a sneak peek of our newest upcoming product. Sales team members Scott Kendrick and Ryan Vickers provided in-depth product demonstrations on both the HT-128 Handheld Wiring Analyzer and the PinMate – Guided Wire Insertion Tool. Scott Kendrick provided comprehensive training for the Next Generation Electrical Test Suite™ (NETS).

Looking Ahead
Kent Williams, Director of Sales and marketing said, “This convention was more than just a gathering—it was a starting point for continued innovation and collaboration. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and are committed to working with our partners and industry professionals to lead the charge in shaping a more efficient, data-driven future.”

Thank you once again to everyone who made this event possible. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s convention and continuing this journey of growth and innovation together!
