ISODYNE, INC. ACQUIRES LEADING MANUFACTURER OF AEROSPACE & DEFENSE COMPONENTS

Wichita, KS – Isodyne, Inc. today announced that it has acquired a majority share in Mooresville, NC based Compaero, Inc. Further financial details were not disclosed. Isodyne stated that it expects the acquisition to complement its own line of Aerospace & Defense components.

Mooresville, NC based Compaero is a prominent manufacturer of backshells, adapters, protective covers, termination bands and other connector accessories used across many defense platforms. Compaero will continue operating from its Mooresville location with plans on doubling their manufacturing footprint in the coming months.

Compaero was founded in 1989 by Tim and Elisabeth Small. Robert Small, who has served as President of Compaero since April 2014, will continue at the same role. “I am very excited to have Isodyne on board and look forward to helping both companies grow and further position ourselves in the industry. I want to thank Mike Freed and George Benton for working so hard these past few weeks to help get this done” commented Robert.

Isodyne was founded in 1995 by the Reilly (Reed) and Neely families in Wichita, KS.
