Greetings Readers,
Well, 2021 is finally here, and we have a couple of new features for you. You’re reading one of them! I want to try harder to open up lines of communication, and I can’t think of a better way than to speak to you directly.
Our second, and much more exciting feature, is Focus: Mil/Aero. We start off this feature with another great article from Michael Traskos, President of Lectromec. My hope is to expand this feature in future issues. Most of the information in Wiring Harness News is applicable across industries. As a wise industry sage always tells me, ‘the wire doesn’t know what it’s in.’ But as more and more of our readers are building assemblies for aerospace applications, we think it makes sense to begin to build more in-depth content surrounding EWIS. Look for articles in the next issue on harness testing and opportunities for our industry in the electrification of aircraft.
Although we write a great deal of the content on these pages, we simply cannot go it alone. We are ALWAYS looking for contributed content from you! If you are a harness manufacturer, please feel free to share your success stories, or other pertinent information, with your peers. If you are a supplier, your expert information is key to the growth of our industry. As always, I’m available to help with some of the heavy lifting, if writing isn’t your thing. Got an idea? Give me a shout.
Here’s to a happy and prosperous 2021!
Kindest Regards,
Joe Tito = Editor
